An expert in high-end 3D visualisation as well as product photography, allowing you to showcase designs in their best light both pre and post production.

01. Design

My core area of expertise is packaging design, a creative discipline which encompasses both 2D and 3D design. The graphic elements (type, colour, illustration, finishes) work hard to communicate the price-point and brand identity, whilst the 3D structure provides usability and protection as the packaging navigates the rough and tumble of the supply chain. With over a decade of industry experience I’ve honed my skill set to excel in this context.

I’ve covered industries from food & drink to beauty, with experience both in the rigours of mass production and the cost-design puzzles of the low-volume batch made. Working across a range of substrates covering both board and moulded components.

02. Visualisation

Computer generated make believe. From photo-grade product visualisation through to quick concept imagery.

Photo-grade renders involve rigorous modelling right down to minute bumps and surface imperfections. Once created, products can be posed or animated within environments which transcend the limitations of physical photography. For marketing this offers endless possibilities. It can also serve an important role in the pre-production stages of a project, allowing for accurate concept benchmarking during research trials, or in situations where product imagery needs to be ready in advance of the final production run.

Concept-grade renders are less realistic but quick and agile, ideal for form exploration and internal reviews.

3D Rendering / CGI / Airbrushing

03. Photography

I have a fully equipped photography studio for flash and product photography. This controlled environment allows light and shadow to be tailored to fit any mood, and provides consistency when shooting large product ranges. Colour matching and full post-processing is available.

The studio can capture the smallest details. From macro photography to more specialist microscopic photography of liquids and formulations.

The majority of photos within the portfolio have been taken in-house. Commercial shoots will be added once the projects reach the public domain.
